The original engine mounts are designed to provide a smooth, comfortable ride on road vehicles. This leads to excessive engine movement affecting gear selection, cornering, and braking when the car is driving on the track. In racing applications, OEM bearings are prone to premature failure of the rubber profile and breakage of the bottom of the press steel housing.

Vibra-Technics listened to BMW racing teams and developed this ultimate engine mount for motorsport applications.

In contrast to the expensive BMW Group N parts, which are just standard bearings in a harder rubber compound, this engine mount is specially designed for racing. Our bracket is engineered without compromise, combining a 6082 billet aluminum housing with a high shear rubber insulator in the core. It is completely fail-safe, ideal for competitive vehicle applications, and overcomes all of the weaknesses of OEM design.
